With free admission, our popular Winter Jazz Festival provides an overview of the Cologne jazz scene and a preview of the upcoming concert year. From fusion of free jazz and avant-garde to daring mixes of modern jazz, new music, pop and heavy metal or work settings by Anglo-American poets to sound journeys with ecstatic vocals, effect based bass and synthesizer sounds, driving grooves and kaleidoscopic color sounds, there is a wide range to discover off the beaten musical path.
