Born and raised in South London, UK, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has become increasingly well known. During his marketing studies, Jake began earning his living as a part-time session musician, played drums and bass for various jazz and rock'n'roll albums, and eventually ventured into songwriting.

Jake has independently produced and released six EPs and one debut album.
These projects reached a streaming number of over 60 million. He has also supported and collaborated with a number of well-known artists. These include Elton John, Angus and Julia Stone, Cynthia Erivo, Duffy, Paloma Faith, Joan As Policewoman, Gabriella and Shuggie Otis.

Jake's unmistakable style of lively soul pop with hymnic hangers has made him famous across the UK borders. He has toured the UK, USA, Germany, Holland and the rest of Europe and has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and Appletree Garden.
