trioPLUS feat. Manfred Schoof und Conny Bauer
Es gilt die 2G++ Regelung: Vollständig immunisiert + tagesaktueller Test (auch für Geboosterte).
With the European jazz legends Manfred Schoof and Conny Bauer, the Lübeck trioPLUS recorded a first CD for the HGBS label at the beginning of 2020 in the famous as well as time-honored studio of the former record company MPS in Villingen in the Black Forest. HGBS stands for Hans-Georg Brunner-Schwer, at that time the founder of the HiFi company SABA and the producer for countless recordings of jazz musicians from all over the world. And MPS is the abbreviation for Musik Produktion Schwarzwald. Today, the studio where Oscar Peterson once made his best recordings is a listed building.
Manfred Schoof and Conny Bauer each contributed in their own individual way to jazz in Europe developing its own recognizable language of composed and improvised music. Their outstanding recordings and their participation in many ensembles of the most diverse instrumentations have contributed to this. Their permanent festival presence in Europe gave them the opportunity to make music with outstanding jazz musicians from all parts of the world and to be inspired by each other. While Conny Bauer was considered the "Albert Mangelsdorff" of the former GDR, Manfred Schoof became known to a wide audience beyond jazz as a composer and interpreter of music for the "Sendung mit der Maus".
Manfred Schoof (trumpet, flugelhorn), Conny Bauer (trombone), Peter Ortmann (piano), Florian Galow (double bass), Oliver Sonntag (drums)
