Tom Tom Listening Session w/ Philo & Aino DJ

Achtung: Der Einlass für die Tom-Tom Listening Sessions erfolgt nur getestet, genesen oder vollständig geimpft, da für die Veranstaltungen eine freie Platzwahl, keine Mindestabstände und die Maskenpflicht nur am Eingang, außerhalb des Green Rooms und in geschlossenen Räumen gilt. Ein Testzentrum befindet sich direkt vor dem Stadtgarten.

Philo, known for her regular jungletrain.net shows and her work as an editor at Trommel & Bass magazine, will give her Tom-Tom Club premiere on July 24th. Here she will very skillfully prove to us that you don't need decades of experience to understand the boundaries of a genre and to break them. Characteristic is her raw, UK Bassmusic influenced sound, representing the deep, amen- and sphere-heavy side of Drum&Bass - always with references to driving halfstep, dubby bassline-heavy jungle, footwork and characteristic 90s elements. She doesn't shy away from excursions into the realms of breakbeat and house from 135-150 BPM, just like our second debutant of the evening Luisa aka Aino DJ. With a good portion of rave sensibility and a healthy preference for trance records she will turn our heads quite often in the future. We can be curious how these two upcoming and promising Cologne DJs will transform their preferences into a listening evening. One thing is for sure, the Jungle flag will be held high here, the good mood as well.
