Celebrated right now as a special guest on tour with Ziggy Alberts, Tay Oskee is finally coming to Germany in September for his first tour of his own. His debut album Keepers of the morning was released in mid-April and shows what a great songwriter and singer Tay is.
Tay composes indie folk-pop songs with undeniably catchy whistling melodies that segue into driving guitar strums. The album is pure road trip bliss and further evidence of Tay's deep connection to the outdoors and open spaces.
Following the release of Keepers Of The Morning, he was touring Europe and the UK all summer with his friend Ziggy Alberts. Before returning to Australia in late 2023 for a major headline tour yet to be announced.
Support comes from Australiana folk duo Brook St, consisting of Hannah Olivia and Jason Daniels. The two have been solo musician:s for many years, sharing a strong friendship that was based on co-writing and collaboration. This friendship soon turned into a relationship and and more recently a marriage. As they wrote songs together in this new season, they found that the songs they wrote had their own flavor and not that of his or her solo projects. Thus was born Brook St, an elegant blend of gentle harmonies, stories and catchy melodies.
