LIUN SYMPHONY

"Remember the name Lucia Cadotsch - you're going to be hearing a lot of it!" recently wrote the British "Guardian" about the Swiss singer. Together with the Berlin saxophonist and composer Wanja Slavin (according to the SZ an artist "between genius and madness") she now opens a whole new sound chapter with "LIUN Symphony": Urban music with dark beats, shimmering synths and pulsating hooklines. Wanja Slavin's multi-layered orchestral arrangements are carried by Lucia Cadotsch's radiant voice. Trying to fathom what is digital and what is analog leads one astray into a musical labyrinth, from the middle of which clear vocals emerge. Space Jazz or Psychedelic Pop are still audible as distant references, but the sound of LIUN Symphony is as stubborn and beguiling as only the future can sound.
LIUN creates a phantasmagorical world, a synthesis of digital and analogue elements, and - in combination with eos - a world that leads into undreamt-of, never-before-heard sound dimensions.
