KCIDY's album "Les gens heureux" seems to have fallen out of time - yet the artist has already undergone two metamorphoses. From Anglophone synthpop she switched to French and experimental electronics, to now land at a fascinating new sound that contains traces of all this; and in addition is influenced by guitar pop, Kraut, even Prog. You hear polyphonic vocals, organ tones, twisted melodies and rhythmic extravaganzas. All this on a musical level that makes you marvel.
