The drummer Jonas Burgwinkel invites with his concert series to a musically diverse evening. In each edition of Jonas & JAKI, outstanding musicians* from the Cologne jazz scene meet an international guest whose music is presented on the respective evening.

Lage Lund is considered one of the best guitarists of his generation and one of the most compelling jazz artists today. A regular in the "Rising Star - Guitar" category of the Downbeat Critic's Poll, he has been hailed by Pat Metheny as one of the most popular young guitarists and is, according to Russell Malone - one of the judges - "all music and all soul."

Armed with a growing and impressive body of original compositions and a mastery of the standard repertoire, Lund swings with great authority, displaying stunning harmonic sophistication and a uniquely fluid voice as a soloist.
