Jennifer Walshe - solo concert & artist talk
AI has been a particular focus for composer and performer Jennifer Walshe over the last ten years. Described by the Irish Times as "the most original compositional voice to emerge from Ireland in the last 20 years", she used AI to rework the history of early Western music on her album A Late Anthology of Early Music Vol. 1: Ancient to Renaissance (2020). The solo set she will play in the intimate setting of JAKI is based on this music. In the subsequent discussion, we will learn more about her works and her artistic work.
