The "Klaus Heidenreich Quartet" consists of experienced representatives of the young German jazz scene. Originally founded at the end of their studies at the Cologne University of Music, the band has now existed for 10 years as the same line-up. Their interplay is now documented on four CD recordings. The "Klaus Heidenreich Quartett" is a modern band with a broad musical background. Between jazz tradition and contemporary, the music is shaped by the feeling of the four musicians for each other. Bandleader Klaus Heidenreich has been a permanent member of the NDR Big Band since 2008. The current album "Spaces" will be released in January 2020 on "Klaeng Records".
