The Music of Ornette Coleman

In order to devote an entire concert to the music of Ornette Coleman, these four musicians from the Cologne scene are playing together for the first time: Pascal Klewer, Stefan Karl Schmid, Calvin Lennig and Jonas Kaltenbach combine their enthusiasm for the playing and compositions of Ornette and his fellow musicians Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Billy Higgins.
Through them, especially in the quartet without a harmony instrument, a way of making music has been shaped that is timeless.
