Fieh is back, the story continues, the Norwegian soul gets a new touch. In April, the follow-up to the debut album "Cold Water Burning Skin" will be released, which was nominated for the Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian Grammy, so to speak) and was described in the reviews sometimes as soul of the future, sometimes as low-convention R'n'B. Now Fieh expand the musical spectrum with "In the Sun in the Rain". Not least responsible for this is producer Lars Horntveth, who contributes his experience to Jaga Jazzist and has recently also given Susanne Sundfør, The Staves or Kimbra a jazzy sound. The full sound of the record, in turn, goes back to legendary mixer Russell Elevado, the Analog Ninja, who has worked with D'Angelo, Angélique Kidjo and The Roots, among others, highlighting the richness of the arrangements here. Fieh set the international scene abuzz in 2017 with their single "Glu." Extensive touring in their home country and soon across Europe rightly earned them a reputation as an outstanding live combo. The band was founded by Sofie Tollefsbøl, whose call name Fieh also inspired the band name. Gradually, other musicians joined, and Fieh has since grown into a collective that, in keeping with Norwegian tradition, is supplemented by artist friends when needed and possible. Everyone brings their own talents, timbres and experiences, from which a very unique and amazing sound develops seemingly effortlessly. Everything grows organically out of itself. On stage at the latest, during these sunny live performances, everything comes together in one big party. In September Fieh will come to us on tour.
