"If this is our time, why don't we use it?" sings vocalist Scott Stanton on Current Swell's latest album. "If this is our life, why waste it?" The band has been talking about this for almost a decade. Their "talks" have led them to sold-out tours in North America, Brazil and Europe, with thousands of tickets on four continents and well over 50 million tickets sold.
Streams worldwide. As long as they play music, it manifests itself in their breakneck and bombastic live performances that have thrilled audiences from Austria to Australia, from Seattle to São Paulo and everywhere in between. Current Swell have spent their time building up energy, driven by the return of founding member Louis Sadava on bass and the fact that they make music they like. It's impossible to listen to "Buffalo" and not smile and tap your feet, and you can see that the band felt the same way in the studio. Renewed and rejuvenated, Stanton, Sadava, Lang and Co. set expectations for a new album and tour with a hard-earned confidence and a well-worn grin.
