CANCELLED: Oscar Jerome

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation muss die Show mit Oscar Jerome am 18.10.2021 im JAKI Köln leider ersatzlos abgesagt werden. Tickets können dort zurückgegeben werden wo sie gekauft wurden.

A statement on the artist's cancellation reads as follows:

"Hello fans of my music. It is with a heavy heart that I announce due to the ongoing uncertainties of the COVID situation in Europe, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone all European dates of my Autumn tour. Huge apologies to anyone who was hoping to make it down to a show - the band and I were so excited to performing for you and can assure we are as disappointed as you. We will meet again. Ticket holders will be contacted about refunds. Sending all my love, Oscar."

After numerous singles like "Do You Really" and "Give Back What You Stole From Me", young Londoner Oscar Jerome finally released his debut album this summer.
"Breathe Deep" it's called, and according to Jerome, it's a "very multi-faceted representation of my musical journey." He recently revealed as much to Britain's Clash magazine.
And the career of the young Brit with the smooth voice is indeed exciting. Jerome studied jazz and classical guitar, but learned his art mainly in the young, diverse jazz scene in London, where this traditional genre is being dusted off in many corners. His single "Your Saint" also promises great things: the highly political piece takes a look at the paths of Syrian refugees and Europe's double standards in the refugee crisis. He recorded the song with members of his Afrobeat band Kokoroko as well as rapper Brother Portrait. "Sun For Someone", the first single release, is also a shimmering, atmospheric jazz-soul-funk-pop bastard with heart and attitude.
The album is out July 2020.
