VERLEGT: Jazz at JAKI: Rebecca Trescher

Das Konzert muss leider auf den 28.05.2022 verlegt werden: Bereits gekaufte Tickets behalten ihre Gültigkeit.

Just a short while ago in Paris, today already back in the Franconian metropolis of Nuremberg! Inspired by the recent tour with a grandiose performance in the cosmopolitan city of Paris, the New Shapes Quartet around Nuremberg composer and clarinettist Rebecca Trescher presents fresh original compositions that are subtle, bubbling, melodic, experimental and optimistic looking forward. Full of joy of playing, the band longs for live concerts with a noticeably real audience! In her quartet, the artist unites the young generation of the German jazz scene: Nuremberg Culture Prize winner Jan Brill on drums, the sought-after Cologne bassist Lukas Keller and the accomplished Munich guitarist Philipp Schiepek, who has just released his debut album Cathedral on the renowned ACT label. Together they create a contemporary, chamber music sound that creates space for improvisation, interplay, richness of facets and flow.
