For over ten years, Mii and Markus Freitag aka Glasersfeld from Essen, Germany have been moving through the local to national scene as DJs and promoters. Their sound, often inspired by UK influences, increasingly points beyond the classic club context and morphs between dub, dreamy to ravey house, breakbeat, trance, acid, reissue obscurities and psychedelic stuff of all kinds. Sets alongside Objekt, Ata or Shanti Celeste, more special gigs at About Blank, Bossa Nova Civic Club or Red Light Radio and above all excessive listening sessions have consistently expanded the musical range. After event formats at Goethebunker, Golzheim and Mischanlage, the current focus is on their "grundStueck" series at Goldkante and their residency at Schlegel Club.
