Having just settled into a DJ career before the pandemic, Cyan85 is a fresh upstart from deep eastern Germany that has primarily surfaced through Berlin’s Voitax camp. With a strong set of gigs already registered in his name that includes support slots alongside DJ Stingray, Fjaak and DJ Spit to Tijana T and Pan-Pot - Cyan’s cultured electro sound has also landed him headline spots in Barcelona, Saint Petersburg and Tbilisi’s Art Cafe.

With a production career also spanning labels like Lunar Orbiter Program from the UK, International Chrome in Australia to southern Italy’s Curtis Electronix and Russian imprint TESTFM, it’s VOITAX that released his debut album, Lucid Intervals. Described by one outlet as ‘mind haemorrhaging music’, Cyan 85’s approach to his craft hones in on a true Detroit electro style while incorporating a complimentary blend of feel good genres like Miami bass, ghetto tech, booty house, acid and fresh B-boy breaks.

Killer podcasts include his GHETTO GUSTO MIX and the very first Lunarcast to live sessions for HÖR and EARTH KLUB, alongside the invitation of others via Lobster Theremin, Voitax and Dusk. Based outta Leipzig with plenty of Jena in between, Cyan85 keeps hope alive.
