Evans/Dahl/Pride - Pulverize the Sound

Pulverize the Sound is a trio formed by the intensely collaborative, hybridized, prolific and promiscuous scene of NYC experimentalists. It\'s members have clocked in time with musicians and bands from a huge variety of \"scenes\", always ending up in a place peripheral to any definable genre. Collectively the members of Pulverize the Sound have worked with Lydia Lunch, Evan Parker, Frank Lowe, Child Abuse, Mary Halvorson, Archie Shepp, Craig Taborn, Weasel Walter, MDC, John Zorn and Mick Barr. Through over 5 years of constant rehearsal and performance in the fertile DIY scene of NYC, Pulverize has amassed hours of music, from sprawling hyper-modernist notated pieces to improvised walls of noise. The group practices and performs regularly, appeared constantly on bills at lamented Brooklyn clubs such as Zebulon and Death by Audio, and has toured internationally.
