Ein Abend für Uli Kurth - Abschied von einem Freund & Förderer

Dr. Ulrich Kurth, for many years responsible for jazz on WDR radio, died in August 2021 as a result of a long-standing illness. Many of those he promoted became his friends. His special interest was improvisation; it was his life's theme, beyond music.
Dietmar Bonnen has developed a concept on this topic, which will be implemented by musical Freund:innen Uli:
Henning Berg, Christina Fuchs, Frank Gratkowski, Hans Lüdemann, Klaus Mages, Dieter Manderscheid, Klaus Osterloh, Frank Samba, Steffen Schorn. Matthias and Jan F., the sons of Uli Kurth, play with their band Mahaphon Clang, plus Ramesh Shotam.
Michael Rüsenberg is the moderator.
