Market at Stadtgarten

Shop differently - eat differently.

On Sat & Sun, 17 and 18 June, regional producers will meet hungry city dwellers for the first time in the outdoor area of the Stadtgarten restaurant. The result is a unique mixture of weekly market and gourmet market.

Here, visitors can not only buy fresh and regional food, but also discover special culinary delicacies directly on site and be inspired by the stories of the producers.

The market creates a new space for the exchange of knowledge and experience about food and its production in our region. The producers show where the products come from, how they are made and who is behind them. The market in the Stadtgarten gives impulses on how a sustainable and environmentally conscious nutrition of the urban society can look like. Through direct contact between producers and consumers, food is brought out of anonymity and into the urban neighbourhood. This creates transparency, promotes mutual trust and strengthens the local economy.

The market in the Stadtgarten will take place on the weekend of 19th and 20th of August, 23rd and 24th of September & 21st and 22nd of October.
