On May 8, 2020, the NRW state government has decided to permit the operation of restaurants (among other premises) again starting from May 11, 2020, subject to conditions. This decision comes as a surprise to us and hopefully not too premature in terms of containing the coronavirus.
We have decided to reopen our restaurant and beer garden on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in accordance with the currently valid hygiene regulations.
Outdoor events for up to 100 spectators are also permitted. Therefore we are looking forward to set up the open air concert space GREEN ROOM in the back part of our outdoor restaurant (the former "Al Bosco") from Thursday, May 14, 2020 on and to organize concerts there. In view of the developments of the last few days, questions are mounting as to whether and how our events will continue to take place.
We follow the recommendation of the Federal Government of today, Thursday 12 March 2020, 21:00 hrs, to cancel all "unnecessary" events. This regulation applies provisionally up to and including Good Friday, 10 April 2020, and affects all public events in our house. We very much regret having to make this decision, but we fully understand the reasons that led to the above-mentioned recommendation.
If you have already purchased tickets for events in the above-mentioned period, the ticket price will be refunded on request at the ticket office where you purchased the ticket. Whether you will also be reimbursed the advance booking fee depends on the goodwill of the respective ticket dealer. For tickets purchased at Ticket i/O, you will also receive a full refund of the advance booking fee.
