The zamus: amateur baroque orchestra is the first baroque orchestra for amateur musicians. This year, it is embarking on a new repertoire in cooperation with the Cologne University of Music and Dance: Together with vocal students, it will present an operatic pastiche, just as Antonio Vivaldi did in 1735 with "Il Tamerlano". Aria highlights from the most successful works of various composers come together to form a new whole that now tells its own story. zamus: amateur baroque orchestra goes opera - a first step towards a shared and lasting musical experience.
