Every year since 2011, the Week-End Fest has brought a carefully curated line-up of artists from all over the world to the stages of the Stadtgarten. The lovingly designed program and the specially developed projects of the residency program with international artists and local musicians are the highlights of every festival edition.

A.R. Kane
A.R. Kane shaped a new vision of guitar music in London in the 1980s. Rudy Tambala and Alex Ayuli combined dub, shoegaze and soul to create a hybrid that they themselves described as "dream pop", thereby defining an entire genre. As black British musicians, they boldly pushed the boundaries of indie, dance and experimental music and influenced emerging scenes such as shoegaze, trip-hop and post-rock.

Céline Dessberg
The French-Mongolian artist combines soul and tradition - with harp, yatga and vocals in Mongolian, French and English. Her current single "Chintamani" is one of the best songs of 2025.

Emma-Jean Thackray
The visionary British musician, composer and producer is one of the most exciting voices of her generation. She combines jazz, funk and electronics to create vibrant, cross-genre sounds - full of energy and soul.

A Guy Called Gerald
Gerald Simpson from Manchester is one of the pioneers of British electronic music. In 1988, he created the UK's first acid house hit with "Voodoo Ray". In the 1990s, he played a key role in shaping the development of jungle.

Polypixa
The Cologne-based poet, photographer, painter and non-binary earthling has recently gained a considerable fan base with her album Queer Criminals.
