Sylvie Courvoisier (piano) and Mary Halvorson (guitar) present adventurous and intricate duo music, featuring original compositions by both musicians. Since the first time they got together to play in 2015, the two felt an incredibly strong musical bond, and began developing a special duet project. As illustrated on their debut recording, Crop Circles (Relative Pitch Records): \"The affinity heard between the two is something that can\'t be taught... This meeting of two of the brightest minds on the edgier side of jazz today produces music that’s astonishing both in its fluency and ceaseless ingenuity.\"
