SOUNDS WRONG FEELS RIGHT: The Flying Luttenbachers / Sea Urchin / Skeeter

Der VVK ist beendet. Es sind noch ausreichend Tickets an der Abendkasse erhältlich.

Flying Luttenbachers
Weasel Walter's back, and he's coming back with his legend: After a break of almost 15 years The Flying Luttenbachers finally play live shows again on a regular basis. Already since the beginning of the 90's the constantly changing line-up of the "seminal punk jazz/brutal prog/no wave" band around bandleader Weasel Walter has been beating around with 100% deconstructed noise. In 2018 the band returned to ugEXPLODE Records with a new line-up, new music and a full length album. The current line-up consists of New York musicians Tim Dahl (Child Abuse, Ava Mendoza's Unnatural Ways, GRID), Matt Nelson (GRID, Elder Ones, tUnE-yArDs, etc.), London multi-instrumentalist Alex Ward and Weasel Walter (Lydia Lunch, Cellular Chaos, XBXRX, etc.) on drums.

Sea Urchin
Sea Urchin seek their music under water, floating and rapt, physical and fluid. The project of the Berlin* women Leila Hassan and Francesco Cavaliere is an expedition into an inaccessible cosmos, an exploration of the unfathomable depths of the sea. Sine waves, tapes and electroacoustic devices are modulated, fluorescent minerals, mirrors, objects and fabrics are transformed into moving projections. Boomkat calls this cubist computer Dub (we agree!). Only in May her album Tahtib Tehbat was released on the Bristol label Bokeh Versions.

Skeeter
Skeeter only loves weirde music and starts to play it now. We support him and are looking forward to a special set.
