Précey feat. Sandilé b2b Philo, Sedaction b2b no:elia, AINO b2b ttyfal
The Cologne collective Précey has been organizing club nights at JAKI for three years now: the aim is to break up the male-dominated DJ scene in Cologne and empower newcomers. The organizers themselves draw from a wide variety of genres in their own sets, and the artists whose talent Précey wants to showcase are just as diverse. From house and techno to breakbeat and electro - the nights are multi-faceted. Previous DJs have included Cryptofauna, Best Boy Electric, Mell G, DJ Frank, Amaliah and Club Fitness. This time, Philo, no:elia and AINO have invited three great DJs to play with them as a duo.
In the realm of club culture activism, ttyfal wears many different hats - journalist, promoter and producer - but her true passion lies in the DJ booth. ttyfal specializes in energetic, progressive and trance-heavy house, while her sets are enriched by her love for breaks and basslines. At the infamous Institut für Zukunft, she curates HOTSHOT in collaboration with four Leipzier artists - also focusing on intersectional feminism and genre non-conformity. This time she is playing together with AINO.
Cologne-based Sedaction should be familiar to all lovers of electronic club music by now. As a member of two great collectives (Club Heart Broken / E.P.I.Q.), the DJ has been a regular at JAKI for years, as well as in all the usual clubs in Cologne and beyond. With her cross-genre sets, she fits perfectly into the evening: she will be playing together with no:elia for the first time.
Sandilé has also been on the Cologne club scene for many years and regularly tours Germany and Europe with her music and has already played at festivals such as Fusion or Nation of Gondwana: funky house is mixed with garage, jungle and groovy techno. She is also active as a producer. Her credo is always: doin' it for the love of music. A perfect match with Philo!
