NICA live: Janning Trumann SEASONS PT. VII - feat. Steidle, Zoubek & Schönegg

The specialist magazine JazzThing recently described Janning Trumann as "...one of the stars in the sky of German jazz". In his ensembles and projects he repeatedly demonstrates the diversity of his musical expression, whether in his New York quartet, his Cologne working band JT4, the ensemble TRILLMANN or his octet.
The multi-layered concert format Seasons focuses on contrasts and creates encounters between renowned musicians from the jazz metropolises of the world. Guests have already included Christian Lillinger, Elias Stemeseder, Eyolf Dale and Jonas Westergaard. On the occasion of the seventh edition, Janning Trumann invites three award-winning musicians: Oli Steidle on drums is undoubtedly one of the most active drummers from the Berlin jazz scene. Whether with his band Killing Popes or playing with Philipp Gropper, Oli Steidle enriches with his energetic rhythmic playing. The companions Philip Zoubek on piano and synthesizers, as well as double bassist Stefan Schönegg, are the perfect addition to this Seasons edition. One can look forward to a fascinating encounter and music created out of the moment.
