Longing and euphoria, melancholy and dynamism - every concert by Maria Basel is a tense, emotional journey in which you glide back and forth between delicate downtempo parts and driving beats. With her new EP "The Longing" (Nov 2025, Listenrecords), the Wuppertal musician is close to the club sound, but at the same time retains the depth and sensitivity of her songwriting. The result is a sound that is both forward and introspective, leaving room for immersive immersion and yet always opening a window into the vastness. Live, Maria Basel and her band fuse electronic beats, warm synth pads and acoustic instruments to create a sound that is as intimate as it is powerful. The evening will be opened by special guest CAGE. With her warm, velvety and powerful voice, Cage knows how to radiate an authenticity
reminiscent of the soulful soul voices of the last century. But the presence and cross-genre music of the singer, pianist, composer and producer point to the future. Stefan Raab recently called her "Germany's greatest singing talent" at the ESC preliminary round, while Rolling Stone magazine compared her to Beyoncé. A voice between soul, R&B and alternative pop - genuine and touching.

Maria Basel:
Maria Basel has been a guest on the popular music format TV Noir several times in recent years, played at the Reeperbahn Festival, Haldern Pop and numerous other festivals in Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy and Romania. She has toured with Jupiter Jones, Alin Coen and Patrick Salmen and counts Enno Bunger and Tex among her loyal fans. Most recently, she released her debut album "Bloom" (2023), which was enthusiastically received by critics and audiences alike.
Born in the Ukraine as the daughter of a pianist and a cellist, the classically trained musician has been deeply rooted in the music scene of the Bergisches Land and Ruhr region for many years, where she has also composed in the jazz and electro scene, including for the Pina Bausch Ensemble, and received various grants and awards.
