Concert

((( LIVESTREAM ))) Pablo Held Trio

The Pablo Held Trio is currently one of the most lively and important formations of European jazz.
It transcends the boundaries between composition and improvisation by refraining from making fixed arrangements - a sequence of themes and a predetermined way to present them - at concerts. The risk of radical spontaneity has given the trio wings for years, making it a model of an aesthetic that is found only in a few artists.

The cohesion of the Pablo Held Trio is based on friendship and the creative will to constantly break new ground. The artistic weight and independence of these three exceptional musicians is a point of attraction for a growing circle of congenial musicians from the European and American continents, who frequently expand the trio.

"One of the great groups in music today"
John Scofield

"The trio gel together as well as any jazz unit could hope to aspire and even exude something of the near-supernatural compatibility of the legendary Keith Jarrett/Gary Peacock/Jack DeJohnette line-up. [...] the group really needs to be recognized as a world class trio of exceptional talent.
