Karneval!?! – Der Tanz auf der Membran

"Carnival!!! - Der Tanz auf der Membran" returns to Stadtgarten and the JAKI Club on Carnival Friday in 2026. The event once again combines the Cologne carnival feeling with the energy of a modern club night and creates a space in which tradition and contemporary club culture work side by side.

Different musical worlds come together on several floors: from electronic sounds and club-oriented genres in JAKI to house, hip-hop and current club hits in the Stadtgarten-Saal to a floor full of Cologne sounds, carnival classics and sing-along moments. Guests can switch between moods, genres and intensities - a versatile experience between partying, dancing and collective euphoria.

Admission starts at 18:11.

"Karneval!?! - Der Tanz auf der Membran" has established itself for years as a permanent fixture in Cologne's alternative carnival scene. The combination of club night, carnival openness and musical diversity attracts a broad, young and colorful audience that wants to celebrate carnival beyond the usual patterns.

Here is our request for costume selection:
There are so many great and creative costume options: Mythical creatures/fairy tale characters, professions, animals, athletes, food, famous personalities, ... We therefore ask you to refrain from discriminatory disguises and costumes. We would also like you to refrain from wearing military costumes that glorify violence and/or war.

We will also have a support team on duty on all days to look after your well-being if necessary.
