"theconsistencyofdestruction" works and researches structures, polyrhythms, density and sound. The music of the Cologne ensemble, consisting of the two bassists Roger Kintopf and Florian Herzog, the drummer Leif Berger, pianist Felix Hauptmann and trumpeter Pascal Klewer, is located on the borders of avant-garde, improvised music and new music. The intensively worked out pieces, templates, specifications and concepts are constantly explored further and finally destroyed, questioned and recouped.

The band released their debut EP "ennui" in 2021, and will release their next four albums on the stssts records label later this year. In October 2021, the band released a week-long livestream to bring the process of structural exploration closer.
