Born and raised in South London, UK, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has become increasingly well known. While studying marketing, Jake began earning a living as a part-time session musician, playing drums and bass for various jazz and rock'n'roll albums, and eventually ventured into songwriting.

Jake has independently produced and released six EPs and a debut album.
These projects reached a streaming count of over 60 million. He has also supported and collaborated with a number of notable artists. These include Elton John, Angus and Julia Stone, Cynthia Erivo, Duffy, Paloma Faith, Joan As Policewoman, Gabriella and Shuggie Otis.

Jake's distinctive style of lively soul-pop with anthemic hang-ups has made him famous beyond the UK border. He tours the UK, USA, Germany, Holland and the rest of Europe and has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and Appletree Garden.
