In the years between their albums "Bambi" and "LP3" Hippo Campus grew up. What the band wanted with "LP3" was something all members agreed on: To make again the kind of music they had made in the early years of the band. In fact, they had gotten away from that. Because as their success grew, they found that they were compromising on their vision, and thinking about how fans would interact with their music.
