Foggy Notion: Dora Morelenbaum

Dora Morelenbaum is one of the incredible talents at the forefront of Brazil's exciting new wave of music. Growing up in a musical family, Dora has internalized the masterful musicality and vocal precision of her parents.

As a member of Brazil's Latin Grammy-winning quartet Bala Desejo, she has shone a groundbreaking light, bringing Brazilian music to a whole new audience outside the country. Dora has also released a solo EP Vento de Beirada and collaborated with artists such as Caetano Veloso, Paulo Jobim, Ana Frango Elétrico, Julia Mestre and Dônica.

Her debut album Pique was released in October in collaboration with the labels Mr Bongo (UK) and Coala Records (BRZ).
