Bilal Sayeed Oliver is a true independent artist. A singer, songwriter and producer who has always been ahead of his time - with a blend of improvised music, Afrofuturism, classic soul, alternative R&B, rock and even classical in his vocals and music. He is known for his wide vocal range, his cross-genre work and his magical live performances. With his emotional and captivating live shows, he has quickly gained a large fan base. He received great acclaim from like-minded musicians who highly recognized his range and ability to sing in a free style, as well as his classically trained falsetto voice. As a core member of the legendary Soulquarians, a collective that was very active from the late 1990s to the early 2000s and featured the likes of J Dilla, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Q Tip and Mos Def, Bilal has influenced an entire generation of musicians and producers culturally and musically.
