RIOPY - pianist and composer, keyboard dreamer and virtuoso. In May, the French sound visionary comes to Germany for two concerts: on May 16 to Cologne, Stadtgarten, on May 17 to Hamburg, Resonanzraum. His album "Tree Of Light" has been in the "Billboard Classical Album Charts" for over 75 weeks and has topped them since mid-January 2O22. RIOPY's works are also known from trailers for Oscar-winning feature films, documentaries, award-winning commercials and from meditation and yoga apps. Tickets for the two concerts are on sale now at all known ticket outlets.

Jean-Philippe Rio-Py, born and raised in France in 1983, taught himself to play the piano at a young age and began composing his own pieces at an early age. At 18, he moved to London to make a living from his music. He soon came to the attention of STEINWAY & SONS and RIOPY became a "Young Steinway Artist." Concerts at Steinway Hall and London's Royal Opera House followed, as well as other acclaimed performances worldwide.

RIOPY - a Warner Classics exclusive artist - released his eponymous debut album in February 2018, followed by "Tree Of Light" (2019) and "Bliss" (2021). His music is imbued with great virtuosity, unique rhythm and complete freedom of expression and delights not only lovers of popular music in the style of Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter or Nils Frahm.

RIOPY's compositions have been used in movie trailers for "The Shape of Water", "The Danish Girl", "Mr. Turner", among others.
