Frankfurt, 11 March 2019 - Welcome to an evening with Kiefer Sutherland! These are very special experiences when the Hollywood star invites you to his semi-acoustic performances. In close contact with the artist there is a direct dialogue with the listener. An 'Evening' with jaws - that means storytelling, campfire intimacy, songs from his second album "Reckless & Me", which will be released on BMG on April 26th, and wonderfully handmade music. On 2 April 2019, Kiefer Sutherland will be a guest at the Stadtgarten in Cologne and at the Stage Club in Hamburg on 3 April 2019.

Compassion, experiencing, being really close. The evenings with Kiefer Sutherland are very special concert experiences - intimate, touching, unique. The singer is accompanied with the rough timbre by himself on the guitar, his colleague Austin Charles (guitar, backing vocals) and the multi-instrumentalist Phil Parlapiano (accordeon, keyboards, fiddle, pedal steel guitar). The smallest line-up presents great, chamber-musically prepared song stories, very best Americana, iridescent between rock, folk, blues, pop and country.

And what was already indicated by the debut album "Down In The Hole" (2016), which was very positively received by critics and audience, becomes a certainty with the second album "Reckless & Me", which will be released on BMG on April 26th. This is not a screen star who wants to live out his musical ambitions in the same way, but a thoroughbred musician who is called to tell his stories, share his experiences with the audience and present his version of Americana on stage.
Sutherland, son of the no less famous Donald, can look back on a 30 year film career. His role as Agent Jack Bauer finally made him a world-famous canvas face. Now he has realized his musical vocation. The second album "Reckless & Me", as well as the debut with his label and music partner Jude Cole written and produced, forms the backbone of the evening program. Sutherland, who has already earned a reputation as a real ramp sow during extensive tours through America and Europe, loves the closeness to and the electrifying interaction with his audience. His songs are authentic, lived through, full of excellent pictures and go to the heart and under the skin. Like the violent anthem "Open Road", the sounding declaration of love "A Faded Pair of Blue Jeans" or the deep melancholic remembrance of his mother and home in "Saskatchewan".
