The band Fewjar has a long ascent from Hades (their Berlin studio) behind them and in the thin air of Germany's progressive music scene it crackles. Because with their upcoming album "Pace" (release end of 2020) they are ready for the descent through the serpentines of the musical landscape.

"We don't want to be cool, because coolness means indifference for many these days. Music is allowed to hurt us. We are the antithesis to 'Everything is Good,' which doesn't mean you can't still break out in euphoria."

Fewjar have their heads in the clouds, but the driving beats never leave the ground. And yes, maybe the unwanted sons of yacht rock will bring them back.
