The singer-songwriter, composer and producer TEITUR, who hails from the wild and weather-beaten Faroe Islands, has set himself a clear goal with his musical work: to give his audience a piece of himself and to penetrate directly into the minds of his fans with his soulful songs. With his debut album "Poetry & Aeroplanes" he not only made it into their minds but also deep into their hearts and climbed straight to No. 1 in the iTunes charts. His artist colleagues also appreciate his exceptional talent, so that he has already worked with greats such as Seal, Corinne Bailey Rae or the neo-classic prodigy Nico Muhly, and last but not least he contributed to Judith Holofern's last album "Ich bin das Chaos". He recorded his ninth, critically acclaimed studio album "I Want To Be Kind" with Thomas Bartlettaka Dovemoan, who otherwise works with absolute songwriter icons such as Sufjan Stevens or Martha Wainwright. But in general Teitur has long since reached international greatness for coming from such tiny islands, and this only through the power of his music: "It is the little things ("I Enjoy The Little Things") that make Teitur's music and the whole album so special - right up to the friendly finale with "I Have Found My Happiness". A strong work through and through" (pencil dryer).
Two Danish Music Awards and more than 1000 concerts played later, Teitur will start his world tour with the title "Home" in Germany on March 10, 2020. The tour is named after one of his last songs in which he sings: "Home is the place where I've been and where I want to go. Home, I'll always feel at home. No matter where I end up." By sharing his songs on tour, he invites his fans into his personal home and creates a shared retreat for a few hours, where his music and the emotions it arouses are at the forefront.
An event of a.s.s. concerts.
