Dub an einem Sommerabend

Veterans is the name of the Cologne-based DJ collective that plays Jamaican music. And just to avoid any confusion, they’re not a sound system. Each of the four members has their own unique approach to spinning dub, reggae, ska, rocksteady, and old-school dancehall. Incidentally, the quartet adopted this name just a few years ago. Before that, they would regularly come together for a wide variety of events: the best known was the “Dubfrühstück,” sometimes on the Rhine, sometimes in Blücherpark, sometimes at Café Olympia—but always featuring an exquisite mix. For the past few years, their regular home has been the “Green Room” in the Stadtgarten, which offers the perfect atmosphere and ideal sound for experiencing a wonderful “dub on a summer evening.”
